A lot of people come across the Facebook page for Intelligent Eating, like the name, and the look of it but aren’t quite sure exactly what it is.
Well, let’s go – let’s explain why it exists and what it is.
Intelligent Eating was setup to give people information about food and how it affects their health. A lot of other organisations do this, but almost all have a hidden agenda, that is – they are funded by someone who is biased towards a certain product or food or perhaps they are selling or endorsing a product, pill, supplement, shake or some other magic bullet that often makes people think there’s a quick fix to their health problem.
So, the information that Intelligent Eating offers people is simple, easy to implement and ultimately gives people the ability to make their own minds up about what is good, or not, to eat.
It cuts through all the bias, the hype, the marketing spin, the fads, calorie counting and all the other noise out there leaving you with real information that, if implemented, will ensure you live the happiest, healthiest and longest life possible!
The whole mentality and ethos of Intelligent Eating is based around studying the populations around the planet who live longest and with least disease and then translating it into a way that can be implemented into the western world.
That’s made possible by explaining to people how they are marketed to and how they make buying decisions and choices about food.
Then giving people simple easy and quick meal plans, where necessary.
Empowering stuff! – And it works!
